Existentialism: Concept Understanding

On the topic of Existentialism we have a flipped learning task. We have a source of videos that we have to observe and learn about the topic. So after watching these videos I am sharing my views here...
[To see original task click here]

Video 1: Existentialism is made up with the tri-angle of i) Individuality ii) Passsion & iii) Freedom

Video 2: Alburt Camus discusses the meaning of life. Why one cummits suicide? Because they thought that life is not worth living. But he says "An elegant suicide is the ultimate work of art."

Video 3: Wherever there is an existence of MAN and THE WORLD there is an existence of ABSURDITY too. If you avoid the absurdity which you found around you, you are killing a philosopher inside you. And this is called PHILOSOPHICAL SUICIDE.

Video 4: Dadaism movement arouse in 1916(after WW2) which is a quest of change. Dadaism means to make yourself free from all values. It was not Nihilistic or Existentialistic movement but it was just an answer to WW1.

Video 5: Life is full with anxiety. Neitzsche says that "Be who you are". Being an individual doesn't mean that you are a Narsissist. Existentialism responses to the absurdity and emptyness after WW.

Video 6: Existentialism and Nihilism both are different. Both shares the basic view of things but differs in their conclusion. People confused because Nihilism comes after extentional thinking.

Video 7: Existentialism is best viewed as a Philosophical movement. It arouse in 19th century in Europe.
Soren Kierkgaurd & Fredrich Neitzsche are the founders of this movement. Fyodor Dostoyeosky also considered as one of the original Giants.
Other Existentialists who are prominent in 20th Century are: Franz Kafka, Martin Heidegger, Albert Camus, Maurice Merleau-Ponty, Jean-Paul Sartre.
All are together in this movement because they all concerned with the problem of living life as a human being.

Video 8: Neitzsche says there is no morality that governs you. You can make your own rules.

Video 9: Personal views of Eric Dodson on why he likes Existentialism. He says it is honest, shows reality of life, and rebellion which appeals his mind, heart and soul, so he likes Existentialism.

MY FAVOURITE VIDEO NO. 8: EXPLAIN LIKE I'M FIVE
I like this video in which Existentialism is described very easily. And Nietzsche's view about the "Ubermatch" which means "Superman", who does as we like. Not only good things but whatever we like. If we really get the freedom as it is said in this video, I would like to do the same as the boy was saying ;-)

Thank You.......
